In the northwest of today's Iberian Peninsula, in a rugged terrain where humans harmonized with the Earth, venerating the elements and nature, an alliance of people once thrived. These people resided in Castros (Shelters), more commonly referred to as free cities. They were self-regulating and stretched across the region between the Douro River (Taru) and the Lima River (Limu). They were known as the Warkânu.
